changing one side of brake pads at a time...
Discussion
Hi, I think this makes sense, but just reassure me if you will...
I'm changing my front pads, my drive is quite narrow, ideally, I'd get both front wheels off, change pads and go about my day, but realistically I'm going to change drivers side, then spin it round and change passenger side. Am I going to destroy anything with this approach, or will the pads settle equally? Ideally I'd avoid using the brakes during this little maneuver, but I can't guarantee I'm not going to hit them if a small child with a pack of kittens runs out or something!
