Best thing to use to stop threads rusting
Discussion
Hi all.
Just had a bit of 'fun' changind the front suspension dust boots on a 1.5 suzuki swift 2007.
The anti roll bar drop links to be precise. Those great threaded fixings that have the Allen key head to stop the ball joint spinning while you indo a rusty old nut.
I ended up grinding the nuts off as the hex head rounded off. Was relatively straight forward bit cist me a pair of arb drop links.
So whilst the new ones are still shiny and new is there anything that would maybe protect the thread a bit better so if I come to replace them in another 10years I might save myself £30
