Hi guys. I have a Tesla Model 3 Performance which I’ve lowered by about an inch, I’ve noticed the tyres starting to wear more on the inside shoulder and would like to get the alignment checked (I’ve just replaced the wheels and tyres and also gone staggered set up, wider front and rear.

I rang several Protyre branches and none either want to handle a Tesla or reckon they can do it now it’s lowered due to the fact that they say if they use factory spec, it’s automatically wrong due to the lowering and that their machine is not ‘adjustable’

It was suggested by some that I need people who are bit more expert in motorsport, those that can work with modified cars and have a machine (a ‘Hunter’ ?) and know how to use it, to get at least closer to the way the tyres should sit against the road

Looking for suggestions of suitable specialists somewhere north west England or travelable distance

Thanks for reading

Thanks for the reply, the Model S and X have air as an option, the Model 3 does not (not yet anyway)

Tesla often don’t fix the stuff they’re supposed to anyway. Mine went in for some paintwork after waiting for the first lockdown to finish, they had a small recall to do while it was there... and when I collected it... no paintwork done (lip of boot paint rubbed off by bad bumper fit) apparently paintwork is a body shop job ? Go figure ! I asked and was told the boot lit is aluminium so shouldn’t rust, research when home confirmed it is in fact steel ! Lol

I’m in Blackpool, but I’m ok with anywhere within 100 miles or so. I’ve made a note of the places you suggest, I can contact them and ask
