Is it possible to change front brake discs on an old car. 51 plate. The car grinds when heavy braking and think is the discs.

Or is every thing just too rusty etc?

Thanks would a garage need to asses before doing. I'm guessing the grinding is coming from there.

Thanks would the garage need to have a look at it or just book in for brakes? It got an advisory last time on the brake discs being slightly pitted/corroded but not weakened.

Any idea of an average cost it's a 51 plate Suzuki swift. weighing up whether worth sorting with the age of the car. Thanks
