I think I know the answer but looking for confirmation

Does this mean a new tyre?

It is about 1/4 inch deep and angled, can't see any cords so may have got away with one.

Trying to speak to she who must be obeyed about slowing for speed bumps and keeping off kerbs is like walking on broken glass with bare feet - painful and you wonder why you ever tried.

Am tempted to get the wheels refurbed but then wonder why when next month she will touch another kerb - and it is always someone else's fault.

Will monitor and see if anything changes, will probably be a blister in a couple of days. The car doesn't do long distances or high speeds. Before anyone comments on the country of origin, it is what the dealer put on just before we test drove it, replaced a punctured Continental.

Well, it's probably changed a bit in 10 months of hitting kerbs biggrin
She hasn’t hit a kerb with that wheel in 10 months!
