Ive got a pair of shocks, top mounts to do on my 2007 Transporter and am trying decide to do the springs or not. The present ones still have all their paint and look ok. Would you do the springs as well for the sake of another £80? Gut feeling is yes.
Not really, its just a workhorse with standard suspension, the problem with VW is that they have multiple springs available due to weight loadings etc so it can become a challenge getting the right ones if you dont go to the dealer. I will probably take the risk and leave them alone.
