AP or Stoptech BBK?

I have a BMW Z4M Cpe and am looking at fitting a Big Brake Kit as OE BMW brakes are not up to track work.

I have narrowed the choice to AP or Stoptech, both do kits for the car.

Has anyone had experience with both kits preferably on a car weighing about 1400kg?

Also what pads would you recommend that will be up to hard track work, but also suitable for use legally on the road?

Thanks, I have heard good things about Stoptech and Pagid pads.

Do your Pagid RS29 pads squeal at all with road driving?

Stoptech BBK ordered with RS29's

Kit arrived in the UK from the states, should be delivered to me this week - Hopefully on the car by the end of the month

ST60 Front with 355mm 2pc discs, ST40 Rear with 355mm 2pc discs, braided steel brake lines.

Unexpectedly I got some Stoptech fast road/track pads too with the BBK so will fit these initially as it looks unlikely I will be able to do a track day for a few months now (cash flow problem) I am interested to see how they hold up when I do track them anyway.

I already have the 29's but will now save those for next year (I don't mind a bit of squeal).

Brakes are on... Bedding them in at the mo' but initial impression is excellent.... With each heat cycle as more pad transfer occurs they are getting better and better









Will report further on these once fully bedded in
