As the weather has been crap this month my 911 has been holed up in the garage. So I have taken this opportunity to do some TLC. Car was washed and then I have polished with Autoglym Super Resin just to take off some tar spots and recent surface deposits, I use Autoglym Paint Renovator for anything more but the car is in OK shape. Next I have applied a coat of Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection and buffed off after about an hour or so. I have repeated this coating of Extra Gloss Protection every couple of days now in the hope of building up some thin coats for a better result. All application is by hand.

So my query is whether there is a better product to apply on top of the Extra Gloss or just stick to this product - or use another product altogether?

I like the car to look nice but to be honest its driven very hard when it does come out so perfection is not on the agenda.

TIA cool

I think I'm going to try a coat of the Autoglym HD Wax next and then a final Extra Gloss over that to seal the lot and see what result that gives.

Autoglym HD Wax coat last night - nice easy application!

I intend to go for one last coat of the Gloss over the top tonight and then go out and get it all dirty and covered in insects and collect more stone chips.

Might take a few pics if I didn't think I was going to get panned by the pro detailers!! laugh
