Whenever I see bird poo on my 911 (the neighbours' tree overhangs my drive) I wipe it off immediately. This happens 2 or 3 times a week. Imagine my shock last week to see (no exaggeration) about 200 red blobs over the front and rear of the car; I think the pigeons have been eating hawthorn berries. I have jet washed the car, however 2 or 3 have eaten into the lacquer
1. Aside from parking elsewhere or using a cover, what is the best method of preventing damage - just a good layer of wax all the time?
2. The bumper and drivers front wing are marked. Is this something that a detailer will be able to put right? Or is it more serious than that?
