Rather than re-invent the wheel, I am looking for a supplier of vents and scoops to get some air to my mid engine kit car.

Any links would be appreciated - all I can find are the usual ones that everyone uses and I need something unique

That's the sort of thing , the NACA ducts look interesting. I've tried Demon Tweeks, ESP Design and a few others but can't see anything suitable yet.

I think some giant size bonnet louvres would look cool - all I can find are teeny weeny ones Even www.coollouvres.co.uk cant help coz they form theirs into steel panels (mine is GRP)

Anyone know of any 'bonnet width' jobbies or suggestions for making some?

I reckon you can't go far wrong with a off big rectangular hole ducted straight to the rad.

Do you have any pics showing what it is you're trying to ventilate?

Exactly what I am doing - I just want to smooth the body line a bit while introducing a bit of quirky style (hence the louvres). Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to post a pic of the project (forum priveleges?)

It is indeed .... or at least it is an idea of what I am starting with - I have plans for some fairly radical changes in body shapes here and there

V6 in the engine bay will have an occasional bout of gas from time to time making about 300 bhp. In a car which weighs about 650kg it should be fun!
