Toyota poor paint and bodywork?

I bought a 06 plate corrola hatchback d4d 2 litre and it had little scuffs etc but over the month it stone chips really easy a bit of cleae laquer has started to peel around the side skirts and one of the side skirts has started to unstick. The cara mechanically sound but i didnt realise how poor toyota is for bodywork and paint?
What can i hse to stick the side skirt back down where its peeling off i can see yellow gunk glue stuff under it a littke at the back and also whats a way to fix the laquer clear bit before it gets worse? The stone chips i know i can get touch up kit from halfords.

Yeah upon closer inspection it looks like its had a poor diy attempt at it 2 previous women owners on car. (hence the scuffs on rear as they obviously didnt know where the car ended).
I have also managed to aquire a small dent that someones done amd not said amything not 100 percent sure I can pull it out its around the flimsy bit near wheel arch. *sigh* might as well try and sell it on soon and buy something newer.
