Underbody cleaning
Discussion
I have a concours classic car but intend on using regularly. The underside is immaculate. Just wondering how I keep this looking good. Obviously regular pressure washing under the wheel arches but how do I get under the car easily. Have seen a karsher attachment that looks good. Any suggestions?

Will spraying detergent underneath wash all grease etc away that is looking after stuff. So it will always be "raw" to oxidising?
Thats a good point but the car is stored in a carcoon which will reduce moisture. just wondering whether a wax should be applied to the underside.Stickyfinger said:
Not if you use it regularly........get the car under-sealed with Dynax clear wax.
Thats a really good point. Going to get some advise on clear underbody rust protection. The chassis has been injected but no other treatment elsewhere. I won't be using either in wet weather, they will be stored in carcoons and will do around 2.5k miles a year each.Gassing Station | Bodywork & Detailing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
