The front wing of my trusty, but crusty 2004 Shogun is in need of obvious repair. I don't really want to bodge it full of filler and fabricating a repair patch to weld in isn't going to be easy.

Any new wing panels I can find are all pre-drilled for plastic arch flares, which my car doesn't have. If I buy a new panel, what would be the best way to plug the predrilled holes prior to painting?
Fibreglass some tissue over the back of the hole and fill, or is there a better way.

Hold a copper coin on one side of the hole with a screwdriver or whatever you have at hand and mig weld the hole from the other side, grind off excess weld and you're good to go....move on to next hole.
The weld won't stick to the copper leaving a flush finish on that side
Brilliant tip thanks, but would you put the coin on the inside or the outside of the wheel arch?
