My Golf had a run in with a deer at ~40mph. Thankfully the animal won't have suffered as it's head hit the bonnet square-on, the car on the other hand...

I've had a quote for the cracked trim pieces (lower grill £37 and bonnet trim piece £48 from VW).

My concern is how serious the bonnet damage is. I've sent photos to a couple of paintless dent removal (PDR) guys - both said it's going to need bodyshop work because the metal looks warped over the rigid structure of the bonnet. That's probably true to an extent although I do think the photos make it look more extreme than it is in person. Another cause for concern is that there's actually no access to the underside of the dent, as its hidden behind the bonnet framework. Does this make a PDR very implausible?

If anyone has expertise in this field, or has had similar damage repaired before then any advice would be appreciated.

(Hampshire area, if there are any recommendations).
