Car windows steaming up after valet
Discussion
Hello, I’ve got a year old Audi which I’ve owned from new so it’s been well cared for.
I’ve got a strange problem that none of my mates know the solution to but have also encountered!
I’ve noticed that when I get my car valeted by the former petrol station forecourt turned hand car wash, my windows steam up a LOT on cold and rainy days.
Is this because of the products they use and is there a solution to this as even the car de-mister takes ages to clear the steam/mist. Any recommended products would be useful to know.

Thanks for all the replies lads. I suspect it’s the wet mats as the car has developed a disgusting damp smell. I’ve taken the floor mats out to dry them but the problem also has extended to the boot where the idiots have also jet washed the boot liner.
You would have through that people who do car washing for a living would avoid this problem so their customers keep returning to them 🤦🏽♂️
