Hi,

Finally got something decent on the drive again.
My cleaning stuff is half or nearly all gone. Just wondering is there were any base definites I should have on hand.

I'm not too arsed about detailing as it's a daily but I do wash it regularly and want to make that process as easy as possible.

Main products I use are Autoglym. Shampoo, fast glass etc. I have Bilt Hamber for the wheels which works well but I'm going to change the spray nozzle for a wide mist rather than a straight squirt.

Maybe once a quarter I'll get the pressure washer out and start with a snow foam. I was recommended Autoglym Polar. Not a fan. Seems to drop off the car as water then instantly turn to solid as it sits on the driveway for days.

Any suggestions on products? £50 max.

Car is lotus btw, so fibreglass.

Cool, thanks.

Liked the BH so will go with that.

That's the Auto foam and Auto Wash I think.
Pretty sure I've got AG Resin Polish somewhere.

Any tips on drying? I use a couple of plush towels at the moment but the shape of the car makes it difficult to dry properly.

I've read about wet sprays as you've mentioned about and also I think you can get air blowers?
Any advice on drying?

Thanks.

Can't really see there is much to these dryers.

Any reason a simple £10 hairdryer wouldn't do the same job?

Like most hobby stuff one you start getting to the higher end the pricing can be quite extraordinary!

I use a generic version of this - KATSU Tools 100140 500W Electric Air Leaf Dust Blower KATSU Tools https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MTSDYH8/ref=cm_sw_r... via @AmazonUK
Looks decent for the money.

Short cord but I could probably sort that out.
