Moving Out to Perth! Forgetting anything?

Following my post a few weeks ago, it's finally happening. Contract signed, visa approved and flight being booked as we speak.

What are the often forgotten essentials to do when leaving UK for a considerable time? In my case between 2 and 4 years.

Aside from tying up my loose ends here and packing, I'm at a loss. Opened an Australian bank account, sorted healthcare and readied my phone for use out of the UK.

Missed a detail in my description. I'm having it unlocked so I can get a local network contract upon arrival.

My new employer puts us up for one month then on our own two feet. Got a couple of mates in Perth so I'll probably locate to near them.

Toby - Any recommendations on where to stay / where not to stay? It will be me and my other half, both 25, like a lively night but nothing too lively (Northbridge by the sounds of it). Looking for an active, healthy lifestyle around like-minded people...
