'Luxury' Car Rental - Melbourne Sydney

Morning all, from Scotland!

I'm planning on visiting my youngest brother at the end of this month in Melbourne we are then going to Sydney and then Cairns.

I was hoping to maybe drive from Melbourne to Sydney either in a day or two and was wondering if anyone can advise of any unusual car rental places? It would be incredible too do it in something special.

If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions it would be appreciated....other option maybe to fly but thought I would do some digging on this first.

If you have to drive, I would rent something comfortable like a Commodore SV6.

Is the coastal route much better?
