Bloody brilliant, from an esprit??
You need to post this on the " sleeper" post as no one has a clue over there....
Cheers Rallye, yes it is an esprit engine, but this engine hadnt ever been fitted in a car, it was a development engine.
Where is the sleeper thread ?

This needs more info.

What brakes are you running? What rear axle and gearbox? What suspension mods? How much cutting and bending was needed to get it to fit?
Hi Jordie. The front brakes are Brembo callipers from an Alpha Romeo on Peugeot 405 coupe discs on escort legs, MX5 steering rack, Capri anti roll bar, Bit of a bitsa.
Rear axle is the original 1500GT casing and shafts with a LSD diff.
The gearbox is ZF Auto with Jag casing, BMW torque converter, Volvo tail housing, Transit flex plate and a few adapter plated
Being Auto has helped the axle live this long.
Still gets off the mark, 0-60- 3.97 sec.
