The "I wonder if I should have kept this?...." thread.....

..starting off with this:-
Before me, it had done just 12000 miles in 5 years with the one lady owner [honest] -she only bought it because she really liked the colour and because the man in the showroom told her it was NOT an 'older lady' sort of car...and he had flatly refused, initially, to sell it to her ...

I can't remember why but I watched a review of these on youtube. I think the fact there are hardly any around now I seem to have more respect for them. Just like any car really. I hope to keep all my cars forever, provided there is space at my mums house for them!
oh yes, I have learnt now - I try not to sell ANYTHING anymore -snag is -the motorhouse is now choked with ## cars and I need to think about an extension....

The Ford Racing Puma still seems bargain priced in fact ...hmmm

1974 - a University field course in Northumberland and my trusty 1947 ex-Irish Army Jeep 'CJ2A' model...

Sad to report that this has recently been seen - rebuilt into a ''genuine'' WW2 Jeep [M38] -ah well, more valuable like that I guess ....

..and here, same year, attempting to cross the Wray to Slaidburn mountain route via Salter Fell - you can't do this anymore -all vehicles banned nowadays ...
