Due to a route change ,the run goes right through where I live ,would have been rude to ignore it.

Almost with fail ,all the participants had a smile or friendly wave for the passers by ,even though they must be freezing and travelling on

110+ year old technology.

Some of the driving of the Veteran cars is a bit wayward,some hogging of RH lane and I'm sure there was some normal drivers getting impatient with one Veteran elephant racing.
Here's a few more pics off phone,it went flat soon after.

Reigate hill is quite steep,I was concerned that these old cars would have brake problems keeping the speed down on the long descent of the hill.

I hope that this wasn't the case here.

That was due to some genius who decided to close a lane at Banstead crossroads for the day and this caused the whole of the

"Mad mile" to jam up and a bloke who came up it and stopped where I was told me all about this.

Although closing the lane on a weekday wouldn't have been any better.
