I had a discount code from Motor Sport. Except it is nothing of the sort - it gets you a discount on the day but makes no difference to the advance tickets most of us buy .
I've seen similar for the NEC Classic show, it's a marketing analysis code rather than a discount code. I bought tickets for Saturday with it, no mention of it only being usable on Friday and it offered tickets for all three days. Normally if the code only applies on certain days, it only shows the special price for those days. For example NEC classic show codes don't usually apply to the Friday, so if you put one in, it shows the standard prices for that day, and the special ones for the days they apply.
I'm guessing it's the code that people who have display stands give to customers and friends for a bit of discount. Only weird thing was that I was expecting to have to print my own tickets, but it appears that they're coming in the post - I don't recall ignoring a "print at home" option.

I wondered about that, but often these codes are given to exhibitors / stall holders to provide to their customers and friends/family to get a discounted ticket. We used to get a code for friends/family discount at the Pageant of Power, for example. I'm hoping that's the case here - ask me again on Sunday.

Used the thingy code, no issue, just means you have to go into the room and they give you a wristband, they asked no questions.
I had the same, all worked fine. We weren't on the list, but they didn't hesitate to issue the wristbands. We even got to go in to the main entrance and park virtually next to the main entrance.I think the only thing I saw that I wasn't impressed with was the new set of body mouldings to go on a Boxster that is supposed to make it look like a 356. A decent enough job, but a 356 is much smaller.

Was it one of these: http://www.totalheadturners.com/cars/iconic-autobo... just does not look right
I don't think it was one of those, but it was certainly similar to it. I didn't pick up a show guide and I've tried searching for "RAM 356" which I think is the name on the board next to it, but didn't find anything. It's just too big, really. I'm not that familiar with the 356, but the one thing that always strikes me about them is how small they are.MDMA . said:
