My dentist prescribed me some pain-killers for my toothache. While we wait for the anti biotics to clear up the infection, he advised me to take one of these little fellers to help ease any pain, "they're very good for that", he assured me.

yikes

I feel high for a moment, then stoned; high; then stoned. Not drowsy, drunk, or dopey... I feel like I've taken A Class...

Are these tablets laced with caffeine??

Nice.

So I'm a semi-skag-head until Wednesday.

Shweet.

They just make me drowsy, apparently are a class b drug according to wikipedia(yeah i know)

In the United Kingdom dihydrocodeine is a Class B drug; however, it is available over-the-counter in small amounts (less than 8 mg), when combined with paracetamol (see co-dydramol). Illegal possession of dihydrocodeine can result in up to 5 years in prison and/or an unlimited fine.
These are 30mg.

Yes, they're very good. I just punched myself in the face. Didn't feel a thing.

I take two Dihydrocodeine 30mg, and Two 30mg Morphine,(MST) to ease things along a bit. I really don't like taking any more than that, as it starts affecting concentration or making me feel drowsy.
But you have a different package of circumstances if you don't mind me saying so... mine is just a toothache.

If it's getting you high, then don't take it every day... after a week or so you'll really notice when you stop. Oh, and you'll find out pretty quickly that DHC constipates as well as Imodium (loperamide, which is just codeine with something bolted to the side to prevent it getting into the brain and being converted to morphine like codeine does). So when you stop taking it, be prepared for the shits smile

DHC is about twice as potent as normal codeine IIRC. How many did you get prescribed?
Half an ounce.

The box had 30 in it. Did a wrongun when I doubled up on the dose. Now my mouth feels like it has been carpeted and my breath has stripped all the paint off the office walls.

Bit of caffeine might help.

Oh and go to the chemist and get some Lactulose or Senna or indeed both - you'll need it. boxedin
Erm... that may not be necessary; the toilet got pebble-dashed this morning.

And...

I think it may get a second coat very soon.

Thank you Dr Face. I've never been a fan of pain killers, but this toothache was severious (yes, a hybrid of severe and serious).

It's a good job there aren't many intyhe box, at this rate, if I carry on, my breath will wipe out the whole of Hertfordshire.

'enry = Henry (Henry VIII) = eigth (of an ounce)

Crack = cocaine base
