I need to sell our Aga in order to replace it with something more conventional. The problem is I don't want to agree a price with someone and then find that they lack the skills necessary to dismantle and remove it safely and efficiently whilst they are halfway through.
I'll be letting it go for a silly price so I'm expecting a lot of interest from people telling me that 'they know what they are doing'.........rolleyes
Its enormous, oil-fed, old but near mint and is bordered by quartz worksurfaces and handmade tiles so an 'accident' is a big no-no.
Anyone know of a professional buyer of Agas...? They're bound to offer less than a private sale but I'm thinking an insured outfit may prove more cost effective in the long run.
Its a cream enamel and black job, with chromed covers. Four oven and a large hotplate and made around 1975. Fully serviced on a regular basis with parts replaced when required......
Any advice welcome.

No problem at all. For you I make special price.....
I'll put a speeder on your cheque and have a few guys dismantle and deliver to you for Tuesday morning.
Hell, I'll even give you FREE delivery !
So now you've commited to your side of the bargain I feel it only fair to indulge you in the trivial matter of the price....
So that'll be a cheque for £10,000, then, ok ?
Or just leave the Lambo on my drive and I'll leave the Aga on yours.....smile
