Show us your Saab!!

twosaabs, saw your Carly at the Sunday Service yesterday! I was parked just behind (dark red TVR S2). Saw you leave but was mid-conversation with somebody so couldn't come and say "Hi!".
What's the story with the car? Absolutely love them in white! Made me get my T16S out of the garage and go for a blast yesterday I am never selling that car!

Funnily enough the Saab battery is nothing to do with me, previous owner fitted it!
Thanks for the info on the car, sounds interesting. Not too many of the white ones made IIRC. Might be worth keeping an eye out for a leather interior - although I always liked the velour. I am sure there was somebody on UKSaabs who had a source for the Carlsson decals. Does it have the red APC under the bonnet?

It does have the red APC. There are also two mystery buttons in the cabin which have been added. So far I haven't managed to figure out what they do, I need to get my multimeter out.
As for leather vs. velour, I'm actually quite taken by the velour, I'd probably consider some leather if it came up for a good price near me though.
Thanks for the tip on the decals, I might try and track them down, it'd be good to have a set even if I don't get round to having it painted for a few years.
What do the 2 switches say on them? Are they the standard square ones?As for leather vs. velour, I'm actually quite taken by the velour, I'd probably consider some leather if it came up for a good price near me though.

Emmett Jenner at Bromley Minis got some pinstripes for his red Carly when it was resprayed - he's ejenner on here, or find him on his own saabsite www.uksaabscentral.co.uk

I would do, but it's filthy already! This was the Ebay advert.
Looks like the twin of my CSE (but probably with all synchromesh intact and no rust )
Have to say, I am classic Saab guy (c900, 99, 9000) but I do like the look of some of the 9-5s and 9-3sses above. I have an itch for an e39 to replace the 9000 but a cheap 9-5 Aero could hit the spot as a daily...
