Anyone know how to stop the windows rattling when they are wound down on an S2?

The dealer has had one go at the drivers side which does seem better ... trouble is the passenger side has now joined in!

On another topic can anyone recommend a sports exhaust for an S2? I had the Janspeed system on my S1 which I though offered the perfect balance of throaty roar with the throttle open whilst still being pretty civilsed on a closed or part open throttle.

I recently went for a ride in an S2 with the Lotus system and to me it was all resonance and boom and no tone ... any suggestions for alternatives? I really just want something that sounds throaty but which is not over the top (and which doesn't resonate the undertray).

Sounds like a simple solution - I'll give it a go!

Thanks.

Ive now tried this out and it does improve things, but the drivers side is still significantly better than the passengers - I gusss it back to the dealer to get the passenger side 'fixed' as well.

The Janspeed certainly seems to be everyone's favourite. Does anyone have any comments regarding quality and sound?

I am after something that sounds good when you go for it, but which is discrete when you dont!

It was at the Service Centre at the factory. They happened to be working on an ex works car when I was there so one of the mechanics took me down the road for a spin ...

Yes the roof was on (soft top), but the undertray was not! I wonder if this might have contributed to the increased noise ... I wouldn't have thought so as if anything I would expect the undertray to contribute to resonsance and 'boom'.

I'll investigate later and see if it helps. Thanks for the reply.
