Hi all. I'm thinking of chopping my RS6+ in for an S2 and going to look at my first one in a couple of hours.

Completely green so any initial advice and pointers most welcome.

It's a 111R Touring with 35k on the clock. Dealer says weather is ruling out a test drive but will see if I can persuade them. smile

Ah I could not see the pic at work.

Digger this could be a match made in heavan... pretty unlikely but worth a shot.

First things first- have a look at the S2 at the dealer... decide if an elise is for you (and an s2 to boot) - and then ... well you have my email.

I have a few months yet before the Elise _has_ to go so I was planning on waiting but what the hey if its meant to be...
Hey Rakoosh. . . it seems like an SC is going to suit me better with its extra torque, so says the Dealer! smile

What colour and mileage is your SC? Do you have a hardtop for it?

Bum!

Unfortunately I untick all the black cars when I do my searches . . . really sorry Rakoosh. Let me know if you want to take a look at my car, as & when you sell yours,& assuming mine's still about. smile

For info it looks like my favourite colours are Ardent Canyon Red, Carbon Grey (red soft top), & Storm Titanium a close third! Are all three available on 2006 - 2010 SC's?

Edit - oops, wrong red!

Do these come with heating for the feet? Is it a cheap & simple diy bodge if not?

I'm guessing all damp & / or wintery journeys start with a blast to demist the screen, followed by the body, then down to the feet. wink

What exhaust is recommended for a slightly deeper tone without sounding boomy or hyperactive iykwim?

Thanks Mike. I take it the Larini is more droney than stock? How does it sound at very low speed and a gentle cruise? I'm after a deeper startup with a bit of a rumble if possible!
