Luggage space Exige S3

I currently have an S3 Elise which is brilliant but the luggage space is a bit limiting. Does an S3 Exige have more capacity as a result of the wider rear body?
Might be a "reasonable" excuse to upgrade..

There is also a bit of space in the passenger footwell behind the metal foot rest.

But to the point, I haven’t seen the boot of an Elise so can’t add anything about a comparison.

If the OP posted some pics of stuff in his boot I would do the same in the exige and thus allow a comparison.

Bit tricky to photo the boot contents as most are hidden in the rear flanks. I guess the Exige is the same but perhaps with wider flanks and therefore more space? Not tried getting the roof behind the seats, not sure it would. I get the car back next weekend so will do a bit of experimenting.

It's a squeeze but it does just about fit, at least in my S2. You have to move the drivers seat all the way forwards to get it in and out, though.

Lol, that's not a problem as I'm a dwarf! Did you put it in horizontally or vertically (and was it in the bag?).

Well I'll try putting the roof behind the seats, might have found my luggage solution right there.
