Tyres: Yokohama Advan Neova Questions

Sorry to bring up this old chestnut again - I've read every comment on elise sites, yet still have unanswered questions.
Soon I will need to replace rear P0's on my standard S1. Obviously the dedicated yoko's sound damn good (pricey for the full set though!) but I have one big concern: On standard rims (5.5, 7) aren't the widths 195, 225) a bit much - especially at the front? The last thing I want is to fork out and then find the car all wallowy with less response from the front.....
Could any drivers with experience of changing from P0's to the yoko LTS's on standard rims please relate their opinions?
With this concern in mind I am tempted by the alternative of a pair of wider 225 P0's for the rear only - I've not had much problem so far in the wet with 205 P0's....... any thoughts?

Many thanks to Dr Bob for pointing me in the direction of JCT600 for Yoko Advans. I live in the south, but was visiting friends in Manchester over new year, so shot over to Leeds and got a full set of lovely spanking yoko advan neova lts's for £357!!!!!!!!!!
Can you believe that? I don't understand how that can be???????????? Is it a mistake? Should we keep this under our hats in case they realise?
Anyway, well chuffed. As promised, car feels simply superb - completely transformed in terms of handling and performance. Look f**cking cool too.
