Just been given the news I really didn't want to hear..after almost 20K trouble free miles, top end re-build needed..finger followers were literally a knifes edge, couldn't come at a worse time with a wedding in under six months! (If I had a say I know which one I would choose)

Now it's all been digested I'm gauging what options I have in terms of a new head, has anyone had the GT spec RND Engineering head fitted? Is it worth the extra spend from a standard spec?

Thanks

I few votes of confidence is always a good sign! They seem to have a good product and no nonense approach, all I have to do now is work out how to get the car to Devon!

I believe it's 'high output' I maybe wrong? It is number 4 out of 4 in the extreme scale (60 bhp over standard). Dave has updated details on his website, it's worth another look. The car only went in a few weeks ago, so it is early days yet, but I will definately post further details as the build progresses and once the car is run in.

I haven't opted for a new ECU, only due to budget contraints frown..it's quite easy for costs to start spiralling with these rebuilds! It was only supposed to go in for a new head!

Dave..I haven't got the car back yet. I know that work started in the New Year, the car will also be run in and dyno'ed before I get it back. Looking forward to though!
