Adaptives reset.

Hi All,

Been making my way through the Sagaris 'Bible' (Great stuff)

The only thing it doesn't touch on is the diagnostics side. To the question.

Does resetting the adaptives really make any difference in the long run at the 12k mile. What down sides are there if you never touch the adaptives. Does it run like crap after a while or is it just best practice and the motor will run just fine. What symptoms if any have people experienced?

Think the Serial cable is my next stop. Any recommendations?

Yes if anyone has a link to a serial connecter they have used that works would be most appreciated. I believe there is a variation on some cars but I have had a look and it looks to be the common one. I will re read the thread concerned.
