Alpine hidden iPod Head Unit help please.
Discussion
Hi,
I remember in the mid Naughties that Alpine made a very conservative looking head unit that worked with an iPod classic.
The joy of this particular model was that the cable came out the back so the iPod could be hidden somewhere.
I am looking for a DB7 and want a head unit that will not look too obnoxious in it and allow me to hide an iPod.
Does anyone know the Alpine model number so I can find one?
Does anyone have any other suggestions of something similar please.
Thanks.

Op. Did you solve this?
If not I have a couple of spare direct Ipod control head units in the loft from that era that had a wired connection so you could keep an old Ipod in the glovebox.
Hi, yes I did, I managed to find a NOS Alpine CD head unit and a KCA-420i adaptor on eBay so have the set up I need.If not I have a couple of spare direct Ipod control head units in the loft from that era that had a wired connection so you could keep an old Ipod in the glovebox.
Thanks very much for looking though.
