Connecting Bluetooth to an original stereo

I have a 1998 BMW e36 M3 GT Evo with the original Harmon Kardon stereo and want to keep it looking absolutely OEM, however I want to connect my phone to the stereo for audio and calls. Given the tape deck and CD autochanger won't be used I have those two channels spare.

I can't find any decent looking product online that would enable this - has anybody found a good solution to connect a phone to an old stereo without any drop in sound quality? Even the 3 car audio specialists in London I've contacted seemed pretty flummoxed!
