Tracker- worth it or not?

I’ve a new Elise on order, and am considering a tracker.

How much % on average does it reduce insurance by?

Is it worth it financially year by year? Or only if the car gets nicked and there’s an excess to pay and then increased future premiums?

All it does is widen the selection of insurers willing to quote for a specific group of car.

Mine was cheaper through an insurer that didn't ask, than it was through an insurer who required a tracker...although the question was "Do you have a tracker fitted?" and not "Do you have a working tracker fitted and a subscription in place?".
