Becoming an advanced instructor

I'm a driving instructor and have been toying with the idea of becoming an advanced trainer. Truth is, I haven't the foggiest where to start. Any advice woulfd be greatly appreciated.

That's precisely the reason I want to do it. Every day I see examples of bad and downright dangerous driving. It is a constant source of frustration when you tell pupils one thing only to see some prat do it in exactly the way it shouldn't be done.

Thanks for all the advice. I appreciate all your help. I'm currently arranging a RoSPA test and a Cardington test (because it's there). Fingers crossed I'll be successful and can feel smug knowing that I'm an "advanced instructor"
