I had a run out in this missile of a motor last night and the performance is absolutely searing. The conversion really looks the business and I'm now absolutely convinced if TVR built a car with this lump on board they would sell by the bucket load. Who can argue with huge power and virtually no engine work needed in 100k miles besides oil changes! The lazy power delivery is very similar to the Rover lump, so the character of the car is maintained, but now it packs a knockout punch.
