I know they are not cheap, but the updated lights and indicators certainly improve things I feel.

Mind you, I'm now not sure if I should have chosen the chrome set rather than the black versions..

Just thought I would share the snaps for those who enjoy an older Volvo.

Sorry for late response! Ok, well, they are not cheap. They are approx £260 for the lamps and £60 for the indicators. As far as I know, these fit all models of this shape V70 (so the C70 and S70)

Be sure if you find them cheaper from say, Germany that they are for right hand drive cars.

I didn't change the bulbs and they do seem better, however, on some of the Volvo forums and FB pages people commented that they then did LED or HID conversions to theirs and some of the pics look like the mother ship from Close Encounters as it pops over the top of 'mash potato' mountain! A friend who I was sat behind suggested in his rear view mirror, things definitely looked like they had improved.

For an updated look and if you can find them, the clear lamps from some of the C70 ranges look nice. I had a set on an S70 although when they do crop up, they tend to make decent money and are snapped up quite quickly.

Steady on now, not that old for a Volvo.

Better anyway than some of the current crop that have the countenance of a badly drawn Kia.

Don.
Too true! hehe
