Got my XC60 Inscription D4 on March 9th and now done 13750 miles

The Service Schedule has just shown up saying Service is due now.

Obviously it is not 1 year old or done 18000 Miles so just wondered if I can spin it out or just need to get it done now?

I'm guessing the "1 Year " started before the car was mine.

Its on a 2 year Lease and was hoping to only need 1 service (at £270) , at this rate will need a 2nd before I return it.

Thanks for any advice

Just as an update

My car is leased directly from Volvo , I have spoken to the Service Dept at the Supplying Dealer and he said ,

"don't worry just book it in on 18K or 1 Year Old whichever is first"

So I'm going to go with that....

Hopefully useful for someone

Just an update if anyones interested….
I rang the Service Dept at the supplying dealer and he said yes its 1 year or 18,000 Miles
I booked in for 14th March at which point will be just under 18,000 miles.

I previously had a merc and a BMW both on 2 year leases. And were mileage dependant for servicing so got away with the 1 service.

I will hand the bar back on 9th March 2020 so very much hoping to avoid that second service

Will update again after the 14th

Had my service done yesterday, Slightly over the 1 year old showing 17,000 Miles.

Courtesy Car Included and the cost of £257.00, I will return it early March 2020 just before its 2nd service is needed so should avoid the cost but if not then its not the end of the world.

I serviced it about a week after 1 year of having the car. Basically ignored the OBC but was still under the 18K service indicator (actual 17K)

The Dealer has added a reminder sticker in the windscreen saying Next Service 14th March or 35,000 Miles whichever is first. SInce I will return it very early March and should just be under the 35K.
