Boy is starting to hanker for an R/C.

He'd rather buy one built he can then tinker with upgrading.

I'd rather he started with a Tamiya but that's a no soon....

who do you suggest we research and avoid?

Im out in the US in October watching NHRA. There is inevitably a massive Traxxis show and wondered about buying one of them as they have looked rather indestructible at previous displays I've seen.

Traxxas looking odds on at the moment. we are out at the Las Vegas NHRA round and they always have a big stand there - just hoping £-$ gets better by then!
