After all the years of owning various cars I've never be able to get an exact replica of the car due to facelifts etc.
I've just got this in the post today after waiting 5 weeks.
Happy bunny. biggrin

Very jealous - where from?

Want one of mine but can't seem to find it:

I got it from here.

Exige and Elise models seem to be quite hard to find. This model is actually officially licensed by Lotus and sold in their showrooms.

Autoart 1/43rd is just a shade too light I think!

That's interesting but as you say looks like the lighter Laser Blue - How easy are models to re-paint?
Not very as most parts are glued.

Best you could do is get some liquid latex that modellers use on aircraft windscreens and paint that on all the bits you don't want to spray. Peel off afterwards.

The main problem you will have is finding scale paint. If you painted it with standard car paint then the metallic flakes will be too large.

Nice. Sometimes they can be a bit hard to disassemble so good masking skills are required. biggrin

I don't have a pic available for the finished model, but there are quite a few S1 Elises available in 1/18 scale.
