Drat, bother, jings

Been putting together an Airfix model of a Typhoon, fairly simple kit really but it's a while since i did any and had this lying around.
Took my time, painted properly, made sure I didn't use too much glue etc
Touched in a couple of chipped areas this evening with a fine brush. Was really proud of it as I started to cut out the transfers.
Left the first one to soak and it needed quite a while to become free of the backing.
I carefully placed it on the wing, started to slid the backing away while holding it with a brush but it was still a little difficult to apply and then it happened.
I caught the model with my hand, sent it sliding over the kitchen bench and onto the floor....
Bits everywhere, some broken rather than the glue breaking and one wheel and under carriage lost completely.
Couldn't believe how much mank and dog hair was under the cooker, along with dog biscuit, lego, visitor card....and the wheel and under carriage. Still at least I have the area under the cooker cleaned.
