Are the any other collectors of basic Hot Wheels here?

I'm looking for an online database to use to track my collecting - does anyone have any recommendations please?

I'm still collecting. It became a problem a long time ago.

Matchbox have been doing some pretty good models recently which doesn't help the ever growing collection.

Thankfully they don't seem to be as readily available as Hot Wheels.
Tesco only for Matchbox I think.

I think the Smyth's price is clickbait as they've no stock and no more coming. The BMW set was also a Smyth's exclusive.

They are lovely

I have got the two Jay Leno sets from Smyths recently, both reduced now. Annoying the tank car is in both but the blue transporter is superb
Those sets are under £13 now. I, too, had to get one to get the Mercedes Wunder.

I saw the 3 car Lancia/Metro/RS200 set in my local Walmart ( these are unusual models to see in Canada!) 45c$ plus tax, so abut c$50 all in, this equates to about 30 quid, is the quality there, they look a little clumsy ?

The quality varies box to box. It's worth looking at a few.

You won't find those in the bins in high street stores.

Do some of these rarer/specials get good/accurate wheels?

My issue with many is the generic and inappropriate wheels used on normal models.

Ie, those above all look accurate to the subject matter, but the Alfa Quad I was looking at yesterday had the same ones as the Honda S2000 earlier in the thread.

My son has about 100 cars etc now… not bought many for years but he picked up a load of illuminous monster trucks and cars for £20 yesterday in a box set.
The premiums get more detail, better wheels and rubber tyres.

The original casting is 2003, the car is from 2018 I think.
