If your making a model, Plastic, wood etc etc pop yer build log in here and update as you go along.

I will start. Here's my Psycho Zaku ver ka. Started it a year ago then got drawn to the darkside by fake lego. Got the airbrush etc setup and back at it.

Most of us start a specific thread for specific builds. It makes projects easier to track.
I thought this was a good idea as a lot of people might not click on Tank or racing car build thread but would like skimming through pics in a Generic thread.

Anyway feel free to post yer builds if you like. Love looking at them.

Oh well if no one wants to post pics I will shut the thread down after a few days. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

What are these like to build? What paints do you use?

I fancy doing a model again as haven't done one in years but don't fancy a military one.

My local comic shop sells similar stuff so getting one isn't a problem.
Tons of fun to build and come in three basic grades. High grade like the ones in my picture. Real grade, same size as HG but super detailed with tons of fiddley bits and Master grade. Like a real grade but much bigger. The kit I posted with the huge Booster is a MG. There's quite a few on Amazon with prime shipping but you will pay more. I order from Banzai hobby. Take about two weeks but they mark down so no customs charges.

You don't need to paint them but if you do then pop to your local hobby craft and get some Tamiya paints. Can be thinned for airbrushing if your going down that road. Tamiya do a nice range of weathering kits that look like woman's makeup. Work nice on white kits and save you painting.

The one below is a £10 HG just done with my Airbrush.

And a bigger Master grade. If you want to see what goes into building this kit then have a wee watch of my vid below. Only 30 or so seconds long but will give you a idea of the detail.

I did this just using the Tamiya weathering sets and just some hand painting.
