Original Scalextric models

Hi all,

We're having an extension built at home and I've just had a clearout and come accross loads of old models including several Scalextric cars that I had back in the early 80s. One is a red Ford Capri 3.0s which has seemed to survive being in a cardboard box for god knows how many years and still seems to be in working order. The actual car in completely unmarked with no damage what so ever and even the drivers head is still intact inside the car. The other car is a gold Porsche 911 of the same era. I have the silver sister car - I remember they came part of the kit and track, but this is missing the drive unit and wheels so I only have the shell, but the gold 911 is in reasonable condition. Does anyone know if these are worth anything or is there a Scalextric specialist I can get in contact with?

Darn I was hoping I could be sitting on a small gold mine. Still maybe in another 20 years they might go up in value. I'll have a gander on ebay et al for some guide prices, but thanks to you all for your help, it's been much appreciated.
