Hi guys, just been given a Laguna mk2 for a company car, fortunately not for too long as it only has till Oct to run on it's lease then I can pick a new car.

Amongst the expected list of annoying niggles such as rear parking sensors not working, rear wash not squirting and other random electrical gremlins, there is one much more serious fault... The headlights which are Xenon and don't have any levelling adjustment wheel are set so low that they are dangerous. You literally can't see more than 20 foot in front of you and this limits you to a safe speed of about 20mph on an unlit road.

Is this a common problem, or are they just simply out on this car? I'm going to brave the dealer today and see what they have to say...

Paul.

Thanks for that Mr Jenks, I thought it might be something like that having seen in the handbook that they should adjust automatically. I tried the dealer today but they weren't able to do anything as they were too busy.

I'm going to take it in on Monday to get it sorted.

Thanks,

Paul.

It went into Renault today and they adjusted them, didn't say anything was broken or faulty, just a matter of adjusting them...

Definitely a lot better now, at least I can drive at night, although they are only average at best, they are usable now.

Thanks,

Paul.
