well the 1.9TD has annoyed me too much and needs a few things doing to it so im selling it as spares or repair(if anyones interested let me know) but ive decided to go and look at a Activa later in the week, it looks well speced up and looks tidy, it has done 130k but has full history and a longish MOT, is there anything particular to look out for on these models?, do they burn oil for example?, is it basicly the same engine as an 8v 306 XSI with a turbo strapped onto it? as i had that 306 a few years ago and remember it burned oil when the miles crept up, that said i didnt look after it as well as i should have, as i didnt have much cash at the time, been a student and all.
also i remember reading someone got one to 200BHP pretty inexpensivly on here, how do you go about doing that?

At the main boost pipe that goes to the throttle body there is a junction with an 8mm bore pipe that goes off to the electronic boost solenoid on the drivers side of the engine bay. If you plumb the bleed valve or manual boost controller into this pipe it should be ok, just make sure you get a boost gauge first.

thanks very much for the help, any idea if anywhere make a kit for this engine?

Oh, and I see you got 4motion in your name, If you do a search they tested it against one when they first came out, and the Activa whipped it's ass good and proper!!!

im not surprised, the 4 motion was the worst mistake ive ever made car wise, it really was rubbish , also thanks for the links
