What happened to Hatty?
Discussion
A a few years ago there was a forum member who purchased a Turbo R called "Hatty" from another FM who I believe was sadly in ill health at the time.
The story has always stuck in my mind. I was wondering if there have been any updates recently.
Does the FM still have the Turbo? If not what happened to it?
How is the gentleman who owned it before?
If this has been covered in recent months please excuse me, I haven't frequented the forum for a long time.

I think Waffagolf passed away, Hatty was purchased by greamel and there were posts about fettling etc. greamel now appears to be named SRT Hellcat, last post about Hatty seems to be about three years ago.
Would be good for an update, I expect the car's moved on?
I'm sad to learn that Waffagolf passed away. I know he really enjoyed that motor. Would be good for an update, I expect the car's moved on?

Indeed I couldn't find anything recent about the car hence this post.
I trust greamel/Hellcat will drop by and give us an update.
Thank you for the very detailed update Hellcat.
I do hope that Waffagolf is still around.
I remember reading the thread he started about the car, which to him was more than a car. I also recalled that he sold it to you and you were a few months into ownership when I last read about it.
It must've been very frustrating for all of those bad things to happen. More so given the personal history of the motor.
Once again thanks for the response.
