I’m swapping my cars around at the moment, and would like a family car that’s a bit of a change from the norm.

I’ve a Taycan on order but will probably now wait for the Sport Turismo version, so would like something else for the next year.

I’ve an Abarth 595 that I keep where I work on the continent, an R8 Plus, for fun, And I’ve just bought an SL, so it’s a nice collection of cars, but since I rejected my Model S I’ve nothing for the long trips as a family.

Anyway, to the point. I quite like the idea of a Mulsanne Speed to do this job. Good recent ones are under £100,000 now, and I do like the idea of having the wife cosseted in the back on the long journeys.

Does this seem like a decent choice?

All I picked up from this is you make your wife sit in the back?
Er, no, but on a long journey she sometimes likes to sit with the children back there.

You force yours to sit in the front?

Of course! Silly me. hehe

Anyway, forgive me, this is the only Mulsanne you should consider...

I’m after a new one, really, a couple of years old at most.

Is that one that you have? What’s the drive like?
