Hi All,

The time has come to replace the rear spheres on my '87 Spirit.

Can anyone advise on how much I should expect to budget for this to cover the parts and labour? Is it a relatively quick job?

Also, any recommendations on who to go to for the work? I'm in the Weybridge area of Surrey.

Cheers.

Excellent, thanks for that.

I have had conflicting information about where to get the spheres from if I were to do the job myself. Some people tend to think that Citroen parts are fine (though from which model I'm not exactly sure), others that the parts need to be sourced from a RR/Bentley specialist.

Does anyone have any first hand experience of this and the probable parts costs?

Cheers.

A quick update on this one to make a personal recommendation.

Having bought the suspension spheres (plus brake accumulator spheres) from Flying Spares, I took the car to English Automotive, a Rolls Royce & Bentley specialist in West Molesey (close to Hampton Court), to get the work done.

They did a great job at a very reasonable rate and with a high level of customer service that seems to be increasingly rare these days! On this experience, I shall be taking my car there for any future work.

Plus, the workshop had a few gorgeous 50's and 60's Bentleys in there to lust after!
