ok ,so with the wifes n18 cooper S i want to keep on top of the oil situation.Can someone explain the best way to check the dipstick ,I have had over 25 cars in my life time and the mini is the most confusing and hard to read ,is there a correct way...help
I have filed the sides and removed the lower bulge a bit and it seems better,Also wiping and inserting ,then stopping at the yellow handle lower edge(not fully in,1 inch short) ,this shows up nicely then add 1 inch on for a true reading...if this makes sense
